Welcome to the page where I get to show off some of the decoys I have carved and painted. For the most part I make hunting decoys that are designed to be thrown out into the water and used in real life hunting situations. I suppose a person could always just set them on a shelf, but that's not really what they are intended for. Most of my hunting decoys are made with high density cork bodies and either wood or composite heads, wood bottom boards and tails, and weighted oak keels. My earlier birds were made or foam and then coated with hardeners. The goldeneyes and ringnecks on here right now are foam decoys. Enjoy the show.
