So, what the heck is going on here, and who is this dude anyway?

Who am I? Just someone who thinks that people take life way too seriously at times. No, we can't laugh and joke all the time, but neither do we have to walk around depressed because we discovered a hangnail on our left big toe. Hey, lighten up a little, slow down a bit, try taking it easy for a change. I'm hoping to have here a site where you feel comfortable stopping by. A place to visit in the mornings where we can share a story or two over a nice cup of coffee and talk about the things we enjoy most of all...whatever they may be. Through my blog I hope to take you on journeys from the past and present. Some of those trips will be funny, some will provide insight into my thinking, some will show you glimpses of my past, and some will be, "What the heck, sounded like a good idea at the time" posts. I am a firm believer in the seasons. You know, trout season, duck season, deer season...all the important seasons. Occasionally dead animals will appear on this page, but rest assured that each and every one of them has found, or will soon find, it's way to my dinner table.
